FLORIDA HIGHLIGHTS
IMS Wows Crowd at Miami!
IMS American wowed the crowd at the Miami International Boat Show with its show-stopping new display featuring state-of-the-art navigation equipment, interchangeable graphics and a built in plasma TV. According to Dominick LaCombe, Jr., head of operations for IMS, both the Miami and the Ft. Lauderdale shows were very productive: “There are new products coming out all the time and we are constantly involved in research and training to stay ahead of the game. It appears that our hard work has paid off and IMS has earned its place as a leader in the marine electronics industry.”
CABO 48
Upon completion of a custom hard top by BAT, a complete electronics package was installed by IMS aboard this Cabo 48. The navigational components include a dual-screen Raymarine® E120 networked system with chart plotter, radar, depth sounder and a Simrad® AP26 autopilot. Additional components include a KVH M7 Tracvision® satellite TV dome mounted on the hard top and a Flir® thermal imaging camera.
IMS is outfitting the 110-foot Broward INTREPID with a fully-automated A/V package controlled by Universal® remotes. Upon completion of a custom salon cabinet, a 60-inch Pioneer Elite® 1080P plasma TV will pop up with a push of a button, courtesy of a Motivated Design® lift. A Mid-Atlantic rack houses the components, including a Sony Blu-ray® disc player.
Components are housed neatly in a Mid-Atlantic® rack aboard the INTREPID.
NORTH CAROLINA HIGHLIGHTS
HATTERAS 64
The IMS Beaufort crew outfitted the 64’ Hatteras LAURA MARIE with a networked navigation and communications system, including a two-screen Furuno NAVnet® VX2 chart plotter, radar and depth sounder and a KVH Tracvision M5® satellite TV dome.
IMPULSE 34
IMS teamed up with Bausch-American Towers to create an eye-catching custom hard top and electronics package aboard this 34’ Impulse for Impulse Marine in New Bern, NC. Components include two 10-inch Furuno NAVnet® screens, a Simrad® autopilot and a Clarion® stereo system.

PAST PROJECTS / FLORIDA
HORIZON 100
IMS has completed yet another state-of-the-art electronics and entertainment package for Gilman Yachts of North Palm Beach. The recipient this time was the eye-catching new Horizon 95 ARRIGODERCI.
The cutting–edge electronics package includes two JRC® JMA-5320/6 radars; a pair of Furuno® RD30 digital depth displays; a Simrad® AP2505 autopilot system; a JRC® JLR-10T digital GPS compass; a JRC® JHS-182 auto identification system; three Nauticomp® 19” daylight monitors on the bridge; two 12” Nauticomp® sunlight monitors on the upper bridge aft station; and two Uniden® VHF radios. The communications and security system includes a KVH® Fleet 33 satellite phone system; a Geostat® Wi-Fi system; Pelco® PTZ engine room cameras; a NVT 1018i night vision camera on the hard top; a Carlisle & Finch® 200-watt Xenon® spotlight on the mast; and a KVH® Direct TV® at sea system.
Top-shelf entertainment is provided throughout the vessel with names like Pioneer®, Sharp, Crestron®, Denon®, Elan® and Sunfire®. The salon entertainment system features an extensive Pioneer® audio-video package controlled by a Crestron® touch panel. Components include a 50-inch hi-definition plasma TV; an AM/FM receiver; and a combination DVD/CD/MP3 player.
VIKING 48
IMS recently conducted a picture perfect installation of navigation and A/V equipment aboard the 48' Viking SHELLSHOCK. Components include multiple Furuno NavNet® displays, complete tower electronics and an extensive Latham® sportfish camera system. A KVH® high definition “TV at Sea” system provides the great seats throughout the vessel. And, for an encore, a Sony® LCD TV in the salon is cleverly mounted on a swing-out door revealing an air-conditioned cabinet housing the audio-video components.
PAST PROJECTS / NORTH CAROLINA
HOLTON 61
IMS recently completed an extensive electronics package on a 61' Holton custom sportfisherman for Hutchins Yacht Sales in Manteo, NC. Highlights includes a Furuno® Navnet system w/ Max Sea® software on 15" displays, a KVH® satellite TV system throughout boat and a KVH® satellite communications system (phone and internet). Additional components include a Note® infrared night vision camera and an integrated bridge and cockpit stereo system by JL Audio® with two amps, six speakers, and a sub woofer.
SPORTSMAN 63
This 63' Sportsman came to the Beaufort facility for a complete Furuno® Navnet package, along with a new VHS antenna and radio, and a hard top by BAT.

FLIR Navigator Night Vision
The Navigator is a thermal imager designed for navigation and collision avoidance.
